The cottage was beautiful . It was in a perfect location in the middle of Christchurch. We had a dog with us so it was great to have a garden area. The cottage was very well equipped. It has an excellent shower. The bedroom was a lovely size, the bed very comfortable.

Christchurch is a lovely place- my sister moved there 2 years ago and we are a large family so need other accommodation when we visit. The Avon ticked all the boxes and it was like home from home. Close to everything and not far from the beach.
It is a beautiful part of Britain and unspoilt which I hadn’t visited before - usually going to Bournemouth.
It is a must for families with Avon beach so clean and unspoiled with all the amenities you need. The New Forest is also so close.

Except that the hotel location was too far to walk into Christchurch the town itself is lovely especially the walks alongside of the river.
Also as with every location along this coast parking fees are an issue and excessive

Christchurch is basically unchanged and has a village feel but also has good shopping and a market on Mondays. The priory and the walks along the river are beautiful. There is also the regent theatre which has a variety of entertainment.

Quaint old town with lovely riverside walk and various interesting old buildings. We had an excellent meal at very reasonable prices at the Lock and Quay restaurant and we liked the Kings Arms hotel for a drink - very friendly staff and lovely, stylish decor.

Only stayed for 1 night, but used to live in the area. Christchurch is a nice town, a little drive from hotel to get there, coffee shops, takeaways and restaurants are all there. Easy drive to Bournemouth. At the hotel there is a little contstant background road noise and plane noise from around 7.00 am, but did not distract from the novel themed hotel and the location.

Very lovely area lots to do around or nearby, great pub the amber wood done nice food lovely beaches, great high street should definitely visit the Bournemouth aviation museum if in the area great value at £7 a ticket was such a good day out
Very very dated hotel, however very quirky, lots of wood panelling, a great bar, great out door patio & greenery
I was expecting Basil Faulty to jump out on me or be served by cybil or Manuel!!!
The traditional cooked breakfast was a 10/10
The staff were all friendly helpful & welcoming
The hotel lacks modern facilities & is very tired in appearance, but that aside, good value for money & good location for Mudiford, Christchurch etc
Brilliant location and very comfortable bed! The room was lovely with a very nice ensuite. It's difficult to find somewhere as nice as this, the room itself is better than most hotels I've stayed in! Michael gave us some top notch recommendations for breakfast (Kelly's cafe - 10/10!) along with some tips on nice walks along Christchurch quay. The blackout blinds are a great addition to the room - home away from home!
Absolutely fabulous location. Beautiful garden. 2 minute walk to the main shops in Christchurch but tucked away in very private courtyard. Loads of walks. Loads of places to eat and drink. Waitrose just down the road. EXCEPTIONALLY clean - not a speck of dust or dirt in sight. Haven’t ever experienced a place like it.
We’ve had a wonderful 2 nights here. It’s in a stunning position on the river. Our room had amazing views. There’s a ferry from the hotel to the other side of the river Wick. And a ferry to Mudeford beach.
The restaurant served good food. Same menu in both restaurants which we were not told about. A very good breakfast
Great selection of continental breakfast including delicious homemade food. Welcome pack provided upon check-in was a lovely personal touch. Good location for walking into Christchurch or driving to the beach. Parking facilities onsite. Staff were friendly.
The hotel was great, lovely decor, very friendly staff, short drive to Christchurch. We stayed in the suite as it was a special occasion, it was well equipped with everything we needed and a roll top bath. The breakfast had good choices and all made fresh.
The hotel was clean, lots of parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had very good facilities with lovely ground coffee. The toiletries in the room were good quality
The food was excellent
The hotel exceeded our expectations. Fantastic staff, nice rooms and good food. Very dog friendly. Opted to stay in for dinner which was very good as was breakfast. A very nicely managed hotel.
Michelle,Ross and Kevin's reserve host. The position in relation to Christchurch, restaurants, the river, and the no 1b bus into Bournemouth which ran every thirty minutes near Tuxton Bridge.
Supper and breakfast were great. Very handy to the Bournemouth airport with a short taxi ride. Taxi company recommended by hotel was excellent also: on time, clean, reasonable!
Great location for Christchurch and Mudeford. Lovely warm welcome from Michael and Sue. Well equipped room and use of the garden. Will definitely return. highly recommend
Our hostess could not have been more helpful and enthusiastic about Christchurch, with helpful advice, the best bed and breakfast accommodation I have ever had.
