The guesthouse is outside a town and it felt as if we were staying on a farm. There are lots of walking trails. The food in the restaurant was very good!

Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are the waterfalls. Other than that, the place has been spoiled by the overly touristy, quasi-Disneyland feel. The are much prettier and more interesting villages to visit in the Black Forest than this. On the other hand, it’s a good base if what you want to do is go hiking. Natural surroundings are great.

So many cool things to do and see in Triberg.
So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town...
The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.
The location is great, because it is right in the center of the town.
One evening we ordered the rump steak, Schnitzel, Hirschragout for us at the restaurant and everyone was happy with their choice. The people working there are nice and attentive.
The breakfast had a nice variety to choose from. A little bit of everything.
And the balcony for the hotel guests is a wonderful idea. I enjoyed an hour in the afternoon with a Cappuccino there. I also appreciated that the room was not carpeted.
Beautiful spacious rooms, offering great views of the valley and the city. Almost every room is guaranteed a view. Well furnished, has all modern amenities if you want to cook or bake or heat up things. But rooms were clean.
The location is very convenient. Not too far from the Marktplatz bus stop. Triberg waterfalls, 1000 clocks house, Black forest museum are all within walking distance. The owner is a very friendly person and gave us great tips for sight seeing and things to explore.
The hotel is in an excellent location! We enjoyed our stay here very much. The breakfast was very large with a huge variety; it had something for everyone. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All of the attractions are close by. The hotel also gives you a free attractions card that you can get into the waterfall and museum for free, a model railway museum, and a selfie museum. You can also use it to ride the busses for free.
Ooh boy, what an amazing place! It's right in the center of Triberg, only a 10 minute walk from the waterfalls. The concept is so much fun, I loved it! (I also miss my little Mupfel-Caravan quite a bit lol). The bathrooms are spacious and clean, as is the whole area. Parking space is right above the hall, equipped with an elevator that brings you right to the indoor camping area.
Staff was great, very friendly.
Everything, it was centrally located to stores and the waterfall. The restaurant was delicious, breakfast too! The hotel had an antique appeal and you can tell they take pride in their jobs. My basic room had a huuuuge shower with dual rainfall heads, tons of space, a huge wardrobe, comfy bed, big windows that let in tons of light or block out the sun.
The apartment is very nice and spacious, looks newly renovated and very well designed. The kitchen is well equipped (except from some basic groceries that could have been nice to have...). The host was super nice and helpful and also put some snacks and sweets for us :) We will definitely be happy to stay there again whenever we visit Triberg.
Fabulous location, excellent facilities and good quality equipment, everything seemed to be provided, wonderful views. Opportunity to enjoy a traditional wooden Black Forest home.
We did walk to Triberg 4.3 km because we like hiking but we think most people would feel that their own transport was important for this location.
It was such a cute place to stay. The views of Triberg from our patio were beautiful. It was located in the center of town, so very close to the Black Forest and to stores in town. The courtyard was adorable for our afternoon coffee and cake. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
really convenient location. guests can cook in the kitchen. the apartment is just 30 seconds from a supermarket. it has lots of food options nearby. the town itself is also very beautiful, and it's only about 10 minutes from the triberg waterfalls.
I greatly appreciated that they provided Netflix too.
For the one night, the owner was so nice and accommodated everything! I loved all the tickets you get that come with the hotel which was a surprise when we got there. The room was clean and probably one of the best smelling rooms we have had!
Our host was very nice and extremely accommodating. The apartment was small but very comfortable with all of the basics you need. The apartment is in an ideal location, just down the street from the heart of Triberg. Recommended!
Great location near a grocery and easy walk into Triberg to attractions and restaurants. The kitchen was well-supplied so that we could make breakfast. It was an easy drive to get to other sites in the Black Forest.
The hotel is located at the central road of Triberg just few minutes walk from the waterfalls. The room are newly renovated, simple, spacious and quite comfortable. The breakfast was great with large variety.
Everything was perfect; from the location to the free guest ticket, you get to explore Triberg. Our rooms were big with a lovely balcony looking over the town.
Fantastic rooms, views, and staff. The food was great and the hotel was in a great location for what we needed with plenty of room to park our motorbikes.
