Exmouth is a lovely seaside town, extremely friendly people who are really helpful when trying to fins a shop or particular place. Many restaurants, bars and pubs. We went for a beautiful 2 mile walk along the new footpath/cycle coastal route up to Lympstone and back on the local train. The following day we went on a boat trip to Topsham which was excellent. The captain was great and gave us an excellent and informative commentary. We then explored Topsham, had some lunch in a local pub and caught the train back to Exmouth. The train fare was included in the boat trip booking.

    Really lovely town centre.

Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops. Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts. Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm. Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

Stylish, comfortable, modern, fully furnished and with a fully-fitted kitchen. It's an almost new flat right in the centre of Exmouth with a secure entrance. Great location less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner or hosts, and inside the flat they had thought of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the mod cons, comforts and sparkling cleanliness on arrival. A fantastic place to stay.

Great location, with (pre-booked) private parking. All the staff where very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and warm, the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the towels were nice and fluffy! We had a great view over Exmouth beach, across the Exe estuary and out to sea. A nice independent (quirky) hotel, unlike more popular chains. Lovely old building, which would benefit from a re-fit and new decoration.

Excellent seafront location. We booked a standard double but we're upgraded to a large sea view room. I mentioned it was my birthday and the man on reception left chocolate brownies and a birthday greeting note in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There were lots of nice toiletries in the room. It was very clean. There was parking in front of the hotel for £6

Excellent sea view & beautiful gardens. We enjoyed use of the indoor & outdoor pools. All the staff were very helpful. We had an excellent breakfast. The hotel is rather dated but comfortable & clean. Great location for walking to Exmouth Beach & the town. With numerous good restaurants 15 minutes walk away. Also a bus stop by the hotel to town or places in the area.

A great place to stay, Estuary view is a lovely apartment, clean and spacious, with a wonderful view as the name suggests. It was close to all the amenities, including within walking distance of the beach, plus on site parking. Debbie was very helpful and prompt in her communications and greeted us with delicious cake!

You know what you get with a garden room. Great price, not as big or comfortable as a hotel. The room was clean. Friendly owner. We could use the garden and did not see anyone else there. Near enough to Exmouth and beach (15 minute walk).

Small but quiet and comfortable room looking out toward the estuary (beyond the Imperial Hotel, which did rather obstruct the view). Good location convenient to town centre, buses and train, and waterfront. Nice shower.
